Good collectibles store, mostly old furniture and bric-a-brac and retro decor pieces. Quite a few interesting items and nostalgic pieces. Great for up-cyclers or re-purposing, not so much in the way of cabinet pieces, an enjoyable place to walk around if you are passing by. Limited parking but easy to walk to from Reading Station or Town Centre.
Great place to look around. Old antiques etc. Give yourself alot of time to browse.

Best hairdressers I have been to! I’ve gone to the same stylist who is always so friendly and blow drys my hair nicely! Staff are always happy to help and offer lots of useful advice. They also stock lots of great products.
****I WOULD'NT TAKE NOTICE OF ANY OF THE BAD REVIEWS - THIS IS HONESTLY THE BEST SALON I HAVE BEEN IN YET**** I wish I could give 10 stars. This salon goes above and beyond to all customers. I found them by popping in for a hair cut with my mum who has not been well and lost her hair due to her illness. We went in to Cocoon for her first hair cut since stopping the medication to get a tidy up before her holiday and they were absolutely amazing. Firstly offering to do the tidy completely free. Secondly being so kind, understanding and positive towards my mum and her insecurities. We left so pleased and they even gave my mum a 'goody bag' with a beautiful candle in it - remember, with no charge! How lovely? I then returned to the salon for my own hair as I had a hair cut two months prior (from a different salon in Reading) leaving me with a burnt scalp and hair I couldn't even wear up in a pony tail as it was so 'all over the place' that it was even a mess in a pony tail! I hadn't worn my hair down since FEB 18. They looked at the state of my hair and my scalp and were so fantastic. I left with the best hair cut I have had in years, and this is after sorting a terrible cut.. They helped me by giving me a scalp treatment ( which again, they kindly deducted the charge). I have been trying different salons for 5 or so years trying to find somewhere that I actually leave happy and I can now say I have found it! Thank you to all the wonderful girls at Cocoon - Reading. Beautiful people inside and out!

Amazing Atmosphere, Someera is such a lovely person! She won’t lie to you like most places do to sell you random rubbish, her products actually work. Best Beauty place I’ve been to and wouldn’t go elsewhere! Waxing isn’t as painful as I know it can be and she does the job right. Highly recommend to everyone!
Both my husband & I recently had a facial at blissful, the staff were so good at giving the facial you come away feeling so refreshed & relaxed. I also had a pedicure &Jade did a brilliant job, they have a vast selection of colours to choose from & the geleration pedicure is second to none. We have booked to come back next week & again in September! They are also doing a bridal party's nails on a Friday. The staff are fantastic, I recently had my whole face threaded ( I thought it would really hurt- it doesn't.) I strongly recommend this shop & staff to everyone we know.

Can confirm, sells pens. Staff friendly
89 Broad St, Reading RG1 2AP, UK – 0118 958 1270
More books than you'll find in an average library and loads of knowledgeable staff who will help you find just what you're looking for. They host meet and greets and talks by authors and these are fabulous as well. The whole building is wheelchair accessible and the staff go out of their way to help.
Great selection of books on any topic. If they run out of one, you can order online and it's going to be delivered to your home address or can be picked up from the store. Great and happy staff! You can sit down on a second floor in a comfy armchair and have a rest, and possibly read something. I love this place!

A very nice bookshop. Where staff go out to really assist you! A nice coffee shop is nearby to.
The bookshop is great for sourcing Christian literature, Bibles and Christianity themed gifts and cards. The staff are pleasant and helpful.

Very helpful people and good level of stocked items. I really like their approach to customer service. Make you feel comfortable and they try to help as much as possible. Really nice to see this now a days.
Good guys. been there 25 plus years. They try hard to sort out your problem or car part give them a try. better than halfords on car information and service.

Amazing People! My BMW had quite a standard audio system which didn’t justify the cars quality. So I decided a few months into my car ownership that I had enough of poor quality and no bass. Had a look around in my local area and couldn’t find any audio store that seemed passionate or as happy as myself to be doing the upgrade to my car. However, I came across Connor & His fantastic colleagues which took me through demos in theirs cars and explained every single detail about upgrading my system. I don’t regret one penny that I spent on the car with them. They take care of the cars as if it was theirs. Not many people do that. They’ve always gone that extra mile for me and I appreciate it ! Keep it going lads!
Superb service! Knowing nothing whatsoever about car audio, but from recommendation from others, These guys were our first port of call! Utterly fabulous staff and fitting job! It was very apparent to me these guys really really care about what they do, they won't be happy until you are, simple as that! In our case they moved heaven and earth, provided a courtesy car, and provided us with an installation that makes you wish your car journeys were longer! You will not better these people! If carlsberg did car audio!

Unlike my review for Halfords Chorley, this Reading branch employ staff who care and bother to assist. A great team. Bought new bosch wiper blades to swap for old. Great advice in store and guy in car park was ace at fitting them and took a couple of minutes to help me resolve a washer squirter problem that Evans Halshaw had failed to. Offered him a thank you tip but he politely refused. A real gent. Staff like this make customers come back and advertise your business for you for free. Keep doing this
Staff are not always as knowledgeable as hoped. However, the store generally has a good selection of parts and tools.

Great store full of awesome sound and visual equipment, staff are extremely knowledgeable
My go-to place on anything related to hifi equipment in Reading. The straight-to-the-point, no-nonsense approach of the experts at the store always keeps surprising me. These guys know what they're talking about. I absolutely love the fact that I can have a local store with genuinely nice people to go to regardless of my audio-related question/need. Also any and all support-related matters have been taken care of by the guys at the store personally and immediately. This is not the level of service you tend to get when ordering online from places that originally might appear cheaper. Highly recommended!

We recently purchased a car from Evans Halshaw Reading and were very impressed with the service. We dealt with Tim Judd who was brilliant throughout. He was very helpful and offered sound and excellent advice to all our questions. He was not pushy and as somebody who isn’t a car person it was great to deal with a salesman like Tim to help us make the best decision without having to worry about being sold something we didn’t want or pressured into a purchase. We are super pleased with the Nissan so thank you Tim for everything.
A very simple and professional transaction. This was chiefly because Tim Judd was extremely helpful. Moved the car we liked nearer in very short time and completed the transaction in one afternoon. Tim fully explained all the available extras to us and allowed us to opt in or out without pressuring us. Thanks Tim, your advice was invaluable. Would gladly recommend Evans Halshaw to friends and family and would suggest that they specifically ask for Tim Judd.

We recently bought a new A5 from Reading Audi. The original plan was to buy a BMW, before a quick visit on a Sunday to Reading Audi where we met one of the sales guys Patrick Clifford–Tarry. Compared to almost all car sales people I have dealt with over the years Patrick was a breath of fresh air! Polite, interested, efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, a genuine car guy which was brilliant. There is no doubt that if we hadn't met Patrick that Sunday afternoon we would have bought the BMW we had test driven 2 hours earlier. Well done Patrick and the team at Reading, thank you for your help - My wife loves her new A5 Cabriolet.
First time buying a car from a dealer and I`m glad I came here and met Dave Taylor. No pressure, no hassle, he was happy to work with us on our budget and we got a fantastic car which I initially thought was out of our reach. Post sale, Dave and the team have been excellent! Looking forward to working with him again when its time to change over.

Felt very confident buying a car.Lawrence so helpful and made me feel at ease each time.
I had the pleasure of meeting Laurence from DC a couple of weeks back and he is such a nice guy and an absolute pleasure to do business with. He was great with communication, sent me some photos of the car that I was interested in and was generally really helpful through the process. I arranged a date to pick up the car and he was honest enough to tell me something that I had missed and he had discovered wasn't working. He bought it up and gave me a small discount off the price we had already agreed. A thoroughly great car buying experience.

Cheapest Petrol and Diesel in Reading. Has been refurbished with new pumps. 16 pumps in total, 4 (OPT) pay at pumps with card only - open 24/7. Other 12 pumps open from +-07:30am - +-21:00pm from Monday - Saturday, Sundays opens and closes with store hours. Air machine from 20p and water free. The station is clean and neat. Colleagues are friendly and helpful.
A good modern fuel station, always good prices. Plenty of pumps including pay at pump facility. Kiosk operated, so you drive to your pump, get out and fill up, then drive to the kiosk to pay. As such, there is no shop within this fuel station, but the main Asda store is very close. Can get very busy, especially when their fuel prices drop! Well situated, with another small retail park just opposite, which has M&S, Iceland, McDonald's Drive through and a Toby Carvery.

Love the new Costa staff are brilliant, helpful and friendly, always happy. It's good for a top up shop and prices are good to. But they have a new staff member at the petrol part of the station. Who is very rude. Ask one question and get a answer for a other. Then he changes his mind and say something else. If u try and correct him...he will flatly deny you and makes u feel stupid.

Best toilets experience ever. Proper Bougie
PROS: - convenient location on the way back to town, - enough stations to fill up your tank. CONS: - could use self-serve stations (pay with card and go, without having to go into the store), - can be difficult getting back on the road.

Finally found a trustworthy, knowledgeable and friendly bike garage. Can highly recommend Andy and his staff. Sorted me out last minute, after being let down by others. Will definitely be returning in the not so distant future. Keep up the good work and see you soon. 👍
It was a pleasure to see someone taking care & pride in there work. the service was excellent. It was nice & reassuring to see Andy taking so much care of my bike when working on it even when finished he polished & cleaned the wheels for me before handing them back. was really impressed with Andy's setup he workshop so clean tidy & well equipped. will certainly be using andy in future for all my bike requirements.

I live in the U.S. and recently purchased my dream bike from Spencer at Bridge Moto. He is a super kind and honest person. He crated up the bike very very well and got it off to the international shipping company at a fair price! I highly recommend Bridge Moto to anyone looking to buy an import or used motorcycle, a very trustworthy business! Thanks Spencer!
I have bought bikes from Spencer for the last 4 years, mostly for custom projects. I keep coming back to him because he has a great depth of knowledge when dealing with niche grey imports and the bikes he selects are great examples. He is exactly what you would hope when doing business, honest, straight forward and reliable.

An absolute gem of a shop!
Always a good selection, great price, nice staff, probably the best second hand book shop in Reading
105 Crockhamwell Rd, Woodley, Reading RG5 3JP, UK
Great shop, I have not bought anything yet. Mainly because they have so many books. I need to make a note of what books I already have and go in there with that list. I will probably come out with a shelf full or two.
Great selection of vinyl records and books. The vinyls are very reasonably priced. The books are reasonably priced too

Fairly standard local pharmacy, nothing special, it has an array of things that you would expect at prices that range from reasonable to expensive. Customer service is fine from every time I've gone in there myself and I've never had any issues. Competent at their jobs and able to offer advice quickly and easily for any medical queries that may be asked.
Helpful bunch. Not a bad pharmacy

The thing that made this JoJo store stands out is the staff. They are exceptionally warm and friendly. They couldn't have done more for us, while at the same time, not being pushy at all.....so we spent far more than expected! But had a really nice time in the shop. Thank.you all!!!
Expensive but it has some pretty nice things for mum's and babies, good for picking gifts for newborns.
Vastern Court, Caversham Rd, Reading RG1 8BA, UK – 0118 950 3340
Great parking. Close to town to walk. They have a Clarks shoes corner and a photo shoot area. The store is large with many items of choice. Mothercare is rather pricey all round. But have all under one roof. Store is next to a The Range and an Aldi. So can park for many other items to.
They do have some great products. The only thing is that alongside the very friendly, helpful, energetic floor managers are some quite unknowledgable younger staff members. You end up waiting around ages just to get a proper answer on price or product code as you'll need to get the attention of the manger for anything to happen. Better training needed. And also the prices shown on products in store are often wrong when put in the system and reference against the catalogue. Lovely helpful staff all in all though and we've been really happy with our Mothercare buggy. The wheel was slightly dodgy at first but they replaced it straight away.

Great selection of suits and lovely customer service. Very helpful and they also offer tailoring. They can also make you bespoke suits, if you want the lining to be different as well as a variance of buttons. I highly recommend if it's a custom suit you want for a decent price. Unfortunately they didn't have what I was after "birdseye" fabric but they had literally everything else.

Bridewell Consulting provided the right solution for my micro-business with the same level of professionalism and care as if we were a large corporate. They were also great to work with. Explaining what we needed in language that made sense to our non-techie selves. Thanks guys, highly recommended for any size business.
Attended the GDPR event that you ran this week, very informative and would highly recommend it to others.

I have nothing but praise for ACT. They really care about their customers and know how to look after them. If things do go wrong, which is extremely rare, they are very open about it and just focus on fixing the problem as quickly as possible. I have recommended them to other businesses in the past and will continue to do so.

Forbury Retail Park, Kenavon Dr, Reading RG1 3HS, UK – 0330 026 1032
It is a typical Hobbycraft, albeit not as large or quite as well stocked as the Woking store. The prices are far from competitive when compared to online stores but the ability to see it and but it immediately must be the price of convenience. The range of things they stock are limited so your choice within categories themselves (modelling flock, for example) is somewhat limited but the quality is always about what you would expect. There are no loos and so shopping with toddlers is a nightmare and the queue is weekends is unbearable.
More signage would be helpful to find things within the store. The staff seem knowledgeable and passionate.

17-, 18 Broad St, Reading RG1 7QE, UK – 0118 959 0332
I love this shop! They have some great products at bargain prices. I like their range of esoteric books and their offers are pretty good (3 for £5 on selected fiction). They're good for stationery and arts & crafts/hobbies. The supervisor pretty much ignores the customers and does this thing where he charges around looking important; however, the staff at the till are always friendly and helpful and their points card scheme is one of the best out there.
The shop was very hot and smelt funny. I was looking for alternative ideas for birthday presents but couldn't find anything. I guess the shop will be good for arts and craft bits.

I can not recommend Evans Cycles highly enough. James and Simon from the shop rescued my anniversary. We had a complete fail with the bikes before we were leaving for a cycling trip for our 5th wedding Anniversary and they pulled a rabbit out of the hat. They are AWESOME. Thank you James and Simon. I am so so so so impressed!
Very knowledgeable staff. Good value servicing. Didn't do unnecessary work (I thought i needed new brake pads, but they advised they were only half worn). Bike rode very well after the service.

Excellent and honest service. I am beyond impressed! Decathlon held my bike for a week and didn't touch it, asking for £50. These guys fixed the problem for less than half the price. Fully recommended!
Great service from the team and bought a bike for my son at a good price, impressed with them and would highly recommend.
186 Loddon Bridge Rd, Woodley, Reading RG5 4BS, UK – 0118 969 5776
Good At what they do. Can do stuff wrong sometimes. But apart from that ok. If you have a quick release wheel check as you leave it is tightened properly never usually is. For any bike shop go in knowing what you need done. Also learn about your bike and how it works and different parts makes your life alot easier
Incredibly helpful staff. Went way beyond normal effort to meet our needs. Add to that the on-the-spot fitting of all accessories, and expert set-up of the bike and you have all the reason you need to support a great local business.
61-64 Broad St, Reading RG1 2AJ, UK – 020 8247 9300
On the plus side carries a wide range of good quality value for money hardware and assorted goods plus the staff are efficient and helpful. So why not 5 stars? Because it's difficult to find your way around in it, the labelling towards the exit it particular is awful.
A very convenient and useful store that have got most of items that you would need for DIY, household and leisure. The cash tills are a bit sluggish and slow. I've been to the store dozens of times in the past and not even a single time the cashier has made an eye contact, smile or shown a bit of friendly attitude! The biggest problem is to find someone on the shop floor to help answer queries and to locate the items. They have recently modified the store and relocated a few sections and it's difficult to meander down the Isles that were so familiar and some of the regular it's in the hardware section completely disappeared.
44A Church St, Reading RG4 8AU, UK – 0118 947 2011
I love this shop - I always find something useful here, and the staff are just wonderful, really helpful guys. They have everything from balls of wool to tools to bird food, you're pretty much guaranteed to find something you need in this shop!
Really positive people in here, if you are not sure what you need you can safely ask with out feeling dumb. They are also available to chat with to go through a plan with to make sure you have got everything

The staff here are so lovely, all the furniture is in good condition and the shop has a stunning collection. If you like old furniture, this is the place. It was such a shame that i had to cancel my order because the moving company quoted me £600 for furniture transport to my new location. I got a full refund from the staff. Will be visiting the one in my new location soon.
Great loads of options helpful staff

Fantastic Visited this store to look at range master products specifically a professional. Gerry the manager was happy to show us around the store, discussed alternative brands and further specifics. Very knowledgeable. Quoted us a price fitted. We deliberated a little more and went off for a coffee to mull this over. Half an hour later and having had another quote elsewhere, we chose to go with McEvoy. Best decision. Great service, fab price and super customer service each time we conversed including my calls after purchase. Thank you very much :0) Highly recommend.
Gerry, is a good man. He have me a good deal and more importantly a very honest person. The place has some amazing cookers. Guaranteed to get a best deal.

35-37 St Mary's Butts, Reading RG1 2LS, UK – 0118 959 0301
Used Sonning flowers for my sisters wedding in July 2018. We sent them pictures of the bouquet, corsages, button holes and table centres and thy not only provided a competitive quote but delivered exactly what we were looking for. The arrangements (especially the bouquet) were absolutely beautiful. Really happy
Received a beautiful sonning flower bouquet of flowers for my 50th birthday from friends who live down your way. They came all the way up to York, well packaged and they were stunning - definitely the best flowers I received during that week. Thank you
60 Headley Rd, Woodley, Reading RG5 4JE, UK – 0118 927 2422
I bought a bouquet for my mum's birthday and we were both so pleased that I came back a week later to buy another bouquet for her best friend's birthday! Excellent service, excellent flowers and they still look amazing two weeks later. Will not be going anywhere else!!!
I came in for a spontaneous delivered bouquet last week. I was treated really well and my girlfriend received them on time. She greatly appreciated them. The flowers were really originally arranged and look great. Thanks.
211 Caversham Rd, Reading RG1 8BB, UK – 0118 939 1144
Had DELICIOUS blueberry pancakes and a smoothie here. Great portion size, really nicely presented and the service was awesome. Spied on other plates that were coming out and they looked great too. New favourite spot!
Love the food this place does. Lots of variety and some pretty special deli sarnies. The food to eat in very good also. They do a breakfast burrito that is excellent. It is a bit more expensive than a standard sandwich shop, but it's worth it.
6 Union St, Reading RG1 1EU, UK – 0118 950 0671
Dam, this is expensive! Don't get me wrong, they've got great quality stuff, a great variety of supplements, but if you want to save some money, better wait for one of the regular penny sales!
Decent choice of bulk foods and healthy life items but usually much better prices and quality can be found online. I still like to stop in and try something new but they need to improve their range and standards.
57-58, Broad Street Mall, Reading RG1 7QE, UK – 0118 957 2787
It has great and a variety of products, but the prices aren't the best. You have other stores near with better prices.
Good range of vitamins and supplements
15 West St, Reading RG1 1TT, UK – 0118 957 4680
I always use Vitamin Shop Reading for supplements. They have a great range of products available and are all reasonably priced. All of the staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend to others. Thank you!

This is one of the best Garden Centers. The selection of great value plants is outstanding. Quality of plants is excellent. There is also a huge selection of gardening rolls and accessories, not to speak of all the decorative items for everyday and also special seasonal occasions. The coffee/tea shop is a welcoming place to take a short break before browsing through all the goods again. Don't miss the pine and oak furniture shop. There are some real jewels to find and during sales bargains can be found. Very solid furniture and staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
Well stocked garden centre, plants, furniture, lumber and stone. A wide range of indoor plants too. Also On site is a tropical fish shop, Cafe, solid wood furniture store, car wash, sundries section, hot tubs, car wash, pet shop, landscape companies and public toilets. If you like discounts I’ve found indoors near the cafe, an area where there’s often discounted stock for sale cheap.

Wyevale Garden Centre, 656 Reading Rd, Winnersh, Wokingham RG41 5HG, UK – 0118 978 3720
Visited Pets Corner here to pick up 2 guinea pigs. Staff were knowledgeable, attentive and took time to provide us with more information about caring for and looking after the animals. No amount of questions from a 6 and 11 year old were too much, and the staff were friendly at all times. Would go back here without question.
Went during a week day. Staff very helpful. Tried pet item before purchase as we needed to check fit. Staff were very good and calm with my pet and even gave it a treat for being well mannered. Enough parking as situated at garden centre. Puppy meet up available at weekend with 10% off purchases during puppy hour.
The Oracle Centre, 20 Holy Brook Walk, Reading RG1 2AQ, UK – 0118 951 2607
Amazing such great customer service.
I took in a broken and knotted white gold chain and the assistant, Kay, must have taken over half an hour to un-knot it and reattach the clasp, and he did it for free! They even put it in a box for me so it wouldn't get re-entangled. And said that it the temp fix didn't work, they could get it soldered, for a small charge. We both have bought jewellery from this store and found the service very friendly and the quality of the product very good.

271 Basingstoke Rd, Reading RG2 0HY, UK – 0118 987 5177
Friendly and knowledgeable staff and a wide range of products from a wide range of manufacturers. I like the price promise. It worked for me one time when I found on Amazon the identical product for £10 less - they gave it to me for the Amazon price with no trace of ill will. Nice one.
Good range of products. Knowledge and helpful staff. Discount for Guides and DofE
Unit 4, Brunel Retail Park Reading RG2 0HS GB, Reading RG2 0HS, UK – 0344 387 6764
Brilliant customer service, and they price matched an online store plus gave an extra 10% 👍 the fella that got my watch was really excited to open the box to show me the contents and was subtly trying to sell me (or maybe himself?) a pretty impressive camping knife. The lady that served me Hellen also signed me up for the store card which gives added discount for future purchases. Really happy with the whole experience thanks
Michelle went out of her way to get me the shirts I wanted Fantastic range Knowledgeable helpful staff
3 Chain Street, Reading RG1 2HX, UK – 0118 402 8376
Good outdoor equipment store with helpful staff
I received very professional help from a lady who works at the shoes department. She helped me to choose right shoes and explained a lot of things + she was very patient... FIVE stars.. Shame that no one helped me to choose rucksack on the upper floor. I spent there about 20min and no one even asked me what I’m doing there so “zero” stars.
54 Buckland Rd, Reading RG2 7SW, UK – 0118 931 1683
Really good customer service good service good things you can buy from this Pet Shop
I left a long review here criticising the store and some practices I wasn't happy with. The owner messaged me privately, explaining some of my concerns reasonably and made some changes to reflect them. I've got to say, this is why independent stores triumph and are always preferable to places like Pets at Home. I will be going back and I have a lot of respect for the owner.
Unit 1 Gazelle Close, Gazelle Close, Winnersh, Wokingham RG41 5HH, UK – 0345 850 9636
Good parking right next to the shop (and free) shop laid out well and pricing of goods easy to see. Staff ready to help with any questions you have.
Well laid out. Wide range of items to choose from. Reasonably priced compared with same items in other placed.

Forbury Retail Park, Kenavon Dr, Reading RG1 3HS, UK – 0118 956 9151
Large tidy store with a lot of stock, everything is well organised and staff seem helpful without being pushy. Always impressed by the number of sports they cover, they do change the ranges depending on the season which can be frustrating if you like doing activities in what they consider the "off season". Found what I wanted pretty quickly, service at the checkout was swift.
Very helpful young lady this morning when I could not find what I needed. She even came with me for second item also and took it out of Bix to show me properly. Well done. Wish I had got her name.
90-93 Broad St, Reading RG1 2AP, UK – 0344 332 5095
Good product selection but seriously unmotivated staff: sudden tumbleweed when you want a member of staff to help you buy some boots (none came even when I hollered loud and clear & it wasn't busy). Next teller was intransigent when I insisted that I only wanted to take home the boots I had paid for and not a cardboard box as well - A bit of staff training required 'No the warranty is not given by the cardboard box; it is legally given by the receipt'.
Located in Broad St. Quite central and accessible. Got wide range of clothing and footwear. Store is neat and tidy with friendly staff...recommended.
52 Broad St, Reading RG1 2AA, UK – 0118 959 2083
This is one of the places where you can be assured that you'd find quality products. The place offers branded t-shirts, shoes, jerseys, track suits etc. It has 2 storeys with the lower storey dedicated for women wear. The upper floor has dresses for men.
3-5 Duke St, Berkshire, Reading RG1 4SA, UK – 0118 950 0493
Very good store to shop, as you enter the shop they always approach you, i like that about them always willing to help.
They always approach you immediately to ask you if you want help (within about 15 seconds of entering). I get that it's probably to deter shoplifters, but it's still extremely irritating being asked if you need help to pick an eraser or something similarly trivial. Just stare at me from a distance if you have to and leave me be. Also they ALWAYS ask you if you want to buy some piece of rubbish at the till. If I wanted X I would have picked it out myself: I'm not just going to randomly buy some batteries or whatever on a whim. I should probably try WHSmith.
7 Arkwright Rd, Reading RG2 0LU, UK – 0118 931 0310
We have used Frasers for office stationary and equipment for years. The service is exceptional and prices are keen too. Happy to recommend them to other businesses who need reliable suppliers.

Ideal when your kids have grown out of Smiggle.
Great service; everyone was always really nice and they had a great selection of paper products!

Good department store !
A2, Forbury Retail Park, Kenavon Dr, Reading RG1 3HS, UK – 0345 165 7790
I find this Argos is well stocked for my needs. Service is very quick on weekdays and respectable at weekends. Location is also convenient for me. My only small gripe is that on a couple of occasions I've received products that look like returns with one actually missing some parts, so it might be best to check your purchase before you leave.
The staff that work here are absolutely amazing. Could not be more helpful. They saved my mums Christmas this year an I couldn't be more thankful to them. Great variety of things at affordable prices. Would strongly recommend you support this business.
130-131 Friar St, Reading RG1 1HX, UK – 0330 123 5986
Good variety of stock but my issue is the waiting times. I believe they have had the same computer software since the early 2000's. The system for trading and buying has always been long and slow but although the staff at this store are friendly, they're far to laid back so the waiting times are ridiculous. There were 5 people behind the desk, 2 of which were serving. I was the only person in the queue and yet I was waiting for at least 20mins to buy one item. I reckon any slower and they'd be late for their own funeral!
Although customer service isn't necessarily the focus of CEX a little wouldn't go amiss. There could be eight members of staff in the shop, often behind the till, and only two will be serving customers (one buying, one selling). I've rarely been in the queue for under 30 minutes. Another point is pricing. For a shop where the premise is selling used goods they regularly charge more for games/accessories than other shops do for brand new items. A used Xbox One controller will cost the same as a brand new one in Game. The price of newly released DVDs offers no incentive to buy them from CEX rather than HMV or a leading supermarket. On a positive note, staff are most often friendly, provide good advice and opinions on the products. The staff who do serve the customers try there hardest to do what they can under the circumstances. There's usually a good selection of products and I particularly enjoy rummaging through the CDs.

We had our wedding on Saturday, and Berkshire wedding hire were amazing!!! Nothing was too much trouble! The settings on our tables were beautiful. The flowers were amazing! And all the games and extras were just the icing on the cake! Doug and Lucy make it all so very easy and made our day truly magical! Thank you
My wife and I would just like to say a big thank you to Berkshire Wedding Hire for the amazing job they did in setting up the light canopy in the tithe barn for our wedding reception at Ufton Court. We opted for a lantern canopy and it looked fantastic! Their customer service throughout was great and once we had decided what we wanted we did not have to worry about another thing. It’s easy to see why they are recommended as a preferred supplier to Ufton. We would not hesitate to recommend Berkshire Wedding Hire, or use them again for other events.

Cascade could not have provided a better service. I have never written a review, but I had to because of their exceptional staff, service and equipment! The marquee was so much better than what I was expecting. We had the marquee for my wedding for just under a week. It looked fantastic on the inside and out. Even during the strong winds and rains the structure remained unaffected. The marquee retained heat with the sides rolled down, and allowed a gentle breeze when the sides were rolled up. Not only is the marquee great, but Danielle is a absolute hero! Her and the rest of the staff are so approachable, resourceful and friendly. They really try to make your life easier and your event as amazing as it can be. Danielle was super understanding of my limited budget and I really appreciate her honesty and manner in not trying to oversell anything that was not necessary to my event (which most other companies did do). They are very quick and polite in replying and getting back to you. The team comes to set up the marquee came spot on the time. They were friendly engaged and in tune with what I wanted. There is so many amazing things I could mention, hard to write in a single review, they honestly are so fantastic!! They go way above and beyond the set service of hiring a marquee!
Cascade provided the marquees, furniture, generators etc for our wedding on the 20th May in Holyport, Maidenhead. They were brilliant from the outset and the marquee looked stunning. Danielle and Seth worked tirelessly to make sure we were looked after and they delivered and set up the chairs at Wokingham town hall and then removed them again with the minimum of fuss and bother. Could not recommend enough!
Oakhouse 7b St Marys Road, Sindlesham, Wokingham RG41 5DA, UK – 0118 977 1082
We recently had Stuart as the driver for our wedding and he provided the most professional and worry-free service. We had an initial meeting to view the cars he had on offer, and was very accommodating and went through all aspects of his service, taking the time to answer any questions we may have had. On the day, he was on-time, looked the part and was ready for the bad weather we had! A fantastic experience from start to finish. Cannot fault at all. Highly recommend for your wedding or other functions.
We used Elegant Lady cars for our wedding in May 2015 - we went with the Bentley which complimented our colour scheme and looked great in all the photos. Stuart was professional, easy to deal with and great at communicating. He thought of everything and provided real peace of mind as well as value for money. He was flexible with our wishes and a pleasure to deal with - we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Always friendly staff and very welcoming! Lots of products available all the time with great trade accommodations. The prices are good as well and the free coffee is a great touch! Perfect for businesses!
Closing at this location Oct 30th 2017, and moving in with Makro at Craddock Rd., Reading. Unclear if it's to be totally integrated.
Cradock Rd, Reading RG2 0AH, UK – 0118 923 2200
WOW...what an improvement since Booker has moved in. Makro used to be a deserted dump; not any more. The shelves are full with lots of new products which have been professionally merchandised; its a real credit to the store manager. Now they just have to start to win back customers who they lost to Costco.
Get everything I need. Helpful staff. Very good prices
